About Invest West Midlands
Invest West Midlands is the region’s official Investment Promotion Agency, unlocking opportunities for foreign businesses and investors. We form part of the West Midlands Growth Company (WMGC), the region’s economic development agency.
Formerly Marketing Birmingham, the WMGC was established in April 2017. We’ve enjoyed great success with our inward investment programmes, and we’ll continue to grow them to reach our ambitions for the region, helping to build and expand businesses in the process.
A public-private partnership
The West Midlands Local Enterprise Partnerships, local authorities, Growth Hubs, universities and a wide range of businesses across the private sector came together to create the Growth Company.
We focus our core activities across Greater Birmingham and Solihull, Coventry and Warwickshire and the Black Country (Wolverhampton, Sandwell, Dudley, and Walsall), with the potential and scope to deliver services for the wider West Midlands
